Retirement Plan Advisor Andrew Harbour, CFP®, CIMA®, CRPS® Joins the Retirement Advisor Council

East Granby, CT – Andrew Harbour, CFP®, CIMA®, CRPS® has joined the Retirement Advisor Council effective January 1, 2016.

As Senior Vice President and Institutional Consultant for Morgan Stanley’s Graystone Consulting in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Harbour runs a team of professionals focused on institutional business in the corporate, government, and foundations/ endowments segments. The team has a long history of offering a broad range of investment management services across all corporate benefits plans to more than 80 clients with over 30,000 participants and $1.5 billion+ in plan assets. Mr. Harbour is an adjunct instructor at the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia where he teaches Investments and Retirement Planning classes.

Mr. Harbour was nominated for a seat on the Council in November 2015. The Nomination Committee recommended his application for Council membership after a comprehensive review process that took multiple factors into consideration including the breadth of his knowledge of corporate retirement benefits and equity compensation plans and his ability to work collaboratively with industry peers. The Executive Board of the Council approved Mr. Harbour’s nomination in January 2016.

  • Identifying duties, responsibilities, and attributes of the Professional Retirement Plan Advisor.
  • Sharing professional standards with plan sponsors who are responsible for the success of their plans.
  • Providing collective thought capital to decision makers, product providers, legislators and the public.
  • Giving voice to the retirement plan advisor community
  • Offering tools to evaluate advisors to ensure the quality of services provided.
