Retirement Plan Advisor Mary Caballero, AIF® Joins the Retirement Advisor Council

East Granby, CT – Mary Caballero AIF® has joined the Retirement Advisor Council effective January 1, 2016.

As an advisor and practice leader with Heestand Company specializing in retirement-income planning, Ms. Caballero provides clients with personal guidance navigating the complex landscape of corporate retirement plans and benefits as well as individual retirement and wealth planning issues. With 40 retirement plans, approximately 2,500 participants and $200 million in plan assets, Ms. Caballero customizes her approach to meet the unique needs of each client sponsor.  Many clients have complex retirement programs combining a range of plan types.

Ms. Caballero was nominated for a seat on the Council in November 2015.  The Nomination Committee recommended her application for Council membership after a comprehensive review process that took multiple factors into consideration including her extensive expertise in all types of corporate retirement plans and her demonstrated commitment to improving the retirement outcomes for her clients and participants.  The Executive Board of the Council approved Ms. Caballero’s nomination in January of 2016.

One of my favorite things to do is help a retiring client create financial well-being and confidence at one of the most important times of their lives. I’m excited to join the Council and connect with other like-minded retirement plan advisors, and also look forward to serving on the Public Relations Committee,” said Ms. Caballero.

  • Giving voice to the retirement plan advisor community.
  • Offering tools to evaluate advisors to ensure the quality of services provided.
