As a Senior Vice President with Lockton Financial Advisors who has over thirty years of professional experience, Mr. Altimont is an expert retirement plan advisor with a wealth of experience specific to institutional retirement plans.  Mr. Altimont helps his retirement plan clients with nearly all aspects of the business— investments, administration, trust/custody, compliance, fiduciary, and employee education as each area specifically relates to 401(k), 403(b), 457, profit sharing, defined benefit, and non-qualified plans. With 200 retirement plans, approximately 110,000 participants and $11 billion in plan assets, Mr. Altimont uses both his retirement plan experience and background in law to benefit his corporate clients and their participants.

Mr. Altimont was nominated for a seat on the Council in November 2015.  The Nomination Committee recommended his application for Council membership after a comprehensive review process that took multiple factors into consideration including his extensive expertise working with all aspects of retirement plans and his experience founding a retirement plan practice. The Executive Board of the Council approved Mr. Altimont’s nomination in January of 2016.

“Clients hire us because of our service-first culture, our fiduciary focus, our breadth and depth of experience, our transparency, and our reasonable costs. My legal background has also been a big help to our clients, and staying in the retirement business for over 30 years has allowed me to see a lot.  The accomplishments I am most proud of, though, are always those that have benefitted our clients.” said Mr. Altimont.
