East Granby, CT – Chris J. Call, CFP, has joined the Retirement Advisor Council effective January 1, 2016.

Mr. Call is the President of the ABD Retirement Services, which is part of the ABD Insurance and Financial Services in San Francisco, California. Mr. Call and his team work with a diverse range of corporate clients to offer retirement plan solutions that fit the unique needs of these clients. The team focuses on research, education and personalized services to help participants identify the risks and understand the rewards of long term retirement planning. Mr. Call was nominated for a seat on the Council in November 2015.  The Nomination Committee recommended his application for Council membership after a comprehensive review process that took multiple factors into consideration including his commitment to helping clients and their employees understand the connection between risk and reward. The Executive Board of the Council approved Mr. Call’s nomination in January 2016.
“The structure of retirement plans has evolved to having automatic featuress along with target date funds and a simplified investment lineup of active and passive funds, all of which drives better overall results.  However, there is still a lot to do drive loan reductions, more efficient guidance, managed accounts, advice services, fee equalization, and simplified fee transparency.  I look forward to debating and discussing our thoughts with the council to get participants in the best shape for retirement.” said Mr. Call.
