Alicia Malcolm, CRPC, has joined the Retirement Advisor Council effective January 1, 2017

East Granby, CT –  As a Financial Advisor with the D’Aiutolo Institutional Consulting Group, Alicia Malcolm is responsible for new business development, relationship management and working with individuals as they near retirement.

 Ms. Malcolm is committed to helping her clients achieve and sustain their financial and life goals through comprehensive financial planning. She takes time to understand each client's unique situation, and then utilizes the breadth of resources, research, and ideas that UBS offers to navigate each client in the right direction to achieve success. 

In recognition of her expertise, Ms. Malcolm was nominated for a seat on the Retirement Advisor Council in November 2016. The Nomination Committee recommended her application for Council membership after a comprehensive review process that took multiple factors into consideration including her extensive industry experience and standing as a leading retirement plan expert. The Executive Board of the Council approved Ms. Malcolm’s nomination in November of 2016.

The Retirement Advisor Council is a national organization that advocates for successful qualified plan and participant retirement outcomes through the collaborative efforts of experienced, qualified retirement plan advisors, investment managers and defined contribution plan service providers.  To advance its mission, the Council undertakes initiatives in the areas of research, public relations and promotion, general public education, regulatory positions and practice management.  The Council accomplishes this mission by:

  • Identifying duties, responsibilities, and attributes of the Professional Retirement Plan Advisor.
  • Sharing professional standards with plan sponsors who are responsible for the success of their plans.
  • Providing collective thought capital to decision makers, product providers, legislators and the public.
  • Giving voice to the retirement plan advisor community
  • Offering tools to evaluate advisors to ensure the quality of services provided.
