ERISA Plaintiff law firms are following the example set by Schlichter Bogard & Denton as the DOL Fiduciary Regulation opens the door to class action lawsuits. What should Advisors do when one of their clients is a party to a lawsuit? At this session, you will have to the opportunity to discuss approaches with an ERISA attorney working with Advisors and plan sponsors to mitigate the threat of lawsuits.  New state legislation leads to the formation of state-run IRA and MEP programs that affect the competitive landscape and considerations in Advisor recommdations.
