He has 30 years of experience in the retirement plan industry and more than 10 years of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions.; Prior to founding Mariner Retirement Advisors, David was a principal at SageView Advisory, where he focused on helping plan sponsors meet their fiduciary obligations. Recognizing a need for better retirement plan and investment monitoring, David developed Fiduciary Investment Reporting Manager (FIRM), an investment monitoring tool that is now used by more than 900 advisors servicing more than 48,000 plan sponsors.
